1. Add meta data to your site by Installing Yoast SEO Plugin
Installing Yoast SEO plugin makes setting up easier than through coding and FTP. Besides Yoast SEO plugin is useful for Search Engine Optimization which helps your site rank higher. Yoast SEO plugin will add meta data to your site which then is read by Pinterest. That’s why it is able to show details like website and post title.
To install Yoast SEO plugin, go to Plugins on your WordPress Dashboard, Add New, then Search “Yoast SEO”. After activating it, go to Features tab then enable Advanced settings pages.

2. Validate using Rich Pins Validator
You need to validate your Rich pins. First paste the URL or link of one of your blog posts or pages to the URL Validator.
Paste URL or link of one of your blog posts to Rich Pins Validator then click Validate.

3. Click “Apply now”
After validating, a confirmation message saying your pin has been validated should come out. Click Apply now. Pinterest will then review. You will receive email from Pinterest that your rich pin application has been approved.
